RE: Vicar Visit

Image
Today the Year One children had a very special visitor. Reverend Kathryn Harlow from St. Paul’s church came to visit the children to teach them some more information about what it means to belong to a church. The Reverend talked about her role at the church, what is inside the church and what happens there. The children asked some really interesting questions and listened really well.  Well done Year One.

Science: Rain Gauges

Image
In Science, Year One have been learning about the four seasons. The children have learnt the differences in weather between each season.  Last week, Year One made their very own rain gauges to measure the amount of rainfall iver the next week.  Both classes split up into two teams and estimated together how much rain would fall this week.  We will be measuring the rain daily and collecting the data to create our own rainfall graph.
