We are...Mathematicians!

Year 1 have been learning to compare numbers.

We have been using the vocabulary more and less.

We then moved on to using < and >  to compare numbers and we even used the = symbol as well!

Number blocks helped us in our learning.

How to help at home: Practise comparing numbers using 'more' and 'less'. Who has more vegetables at dinner? Are there more trees or flowers on your street? How many things can you compare?
