Black History Month

Our class assembly this week was about a historical moment:


We talked about the 1968 Olympics, and about how Tommie Smith and John Carlos stood up for their beliefs.

We talked about whether breaking the rules is a good thing or whether we always have to follow the rules. Then we spoke about how things cannot change if sometimes we don't stand up for what we think is right.
