Science - The 5 Senses

In Year One, we have been learning all about the 5 senses.

The children had the opportunity to complete different activities linking to sight and touch.

The children had the chance to look through coloured lenses, looking at interesting objects with magnifying glasses and draw whilst wearing a blindfold. The children spoke about how important our eyes are and how difficult it was to draw a picture without looking.

Also, the children had the chance to use their hands to touch different objects and used different words to describe what they could feel.
