Science - Everyday Materials

In Science, Year One have been learning all about the properties of everyday materials.

This week the children had the opportunity to explore different materials. They worked in pairs and discussed whether the material was 'see through' or 'not see through'. Some of the materials caused lots of discussions and the children were able to apply relevant vocabulary.

E.M "This one is a bit see-through but you can't see all the way through. It's quite blurry."

W.B "This one is definitely see through, it's made of plastic."
