Year 1 Iveson Blog

Year One had a fantastic trip to Eureka! Science Museum last week. We took part in a Gross Lab learning abogut all the icky stuff our bodies make and how it helps us. Then we got to explore the museum.  We saw huge teeth and a massive nose. We got to be enterprising and role play as doctors, midwives, nurses and event dentists    We even got to be curious about what is inside of our own bodies! What a fantastic experience to start Year 1!

We are entered into a competition in which we could win up to £12,000! This would be used to improve lighting within the school to improve learning and the classroom environments. Welcome back to a new school Year. We have had a wonderful day with our new Year 1 children today. We are really looking forward to all of the exciting learning we will be doing this year.  Miss Grimshaw and Miss Lennon
