Year 1 Iveson Blog

 In Maths this week, Year One have been learning about Tens and Ones.  The children were able to choose a number card and use the base tens and ones to create the number that they had chosen.  T.S "I've made 21. It's two tens and one, one." G.P "I've made 25, with two tens and five ones."

  Year One Owls have had the opportunity to make Christmas biscuits this week.  They started the week by designing their biscuit and making design criteria.  We then read a recipe and discussed what ingredients we needed. The children baked the biscuits in small groups.  Today, the children have had the opportunity to decorate their Christmas biscuit ensuring it looks like their initial design.  🎄🎅🤶
