Phonics Lessons on YouTube

At Iveson, we follow a range of Phonics schemes whilst teaching Reading.  The Letters and Sounds scheme have begun posting lessons for Year 1 on YouTube.  The video is around 30 minutes long, we would not expect the children to sit and watch the full video all at once.  We would recommend the children watch 10 minutes at the most, practising segmenting and blending words and revisit the rest of the video later on in the week. Have a look at the lesson they posted today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpvquS6c5vk Remember to keep posting your work on DropBox so Miss McGill and Miss Heszelgraves can see what you have been doing.
