In Miss McGill’s craft club the children worked hard to make a snowman completely out of paper. Well done craft club!

Year One have continued their learning about the sculptor Andy Goldsworthy. Today the children chose stones and painted them to build their very own natural sculpture. 

This week Year One have been learning about non-fiction texts. They sorted fiction and non-fiction texts together and discussed their features. 

Year One learnt about the sculptor Andy Goldsworthy this week. They found out that he uses natural materials to make different sculptures. The children went on an Autumn walk and made some sculptures of their own.  Well done Year One.

Year One love reading and are enjoying our brand new reading corner. They have had lots of fun this morning reading their favourite books in the tent. 

This half term we will begin teaching the Phase 5 sounds.
