Computing - pictograms
The children are becoming experts logging onto the iPads and purple mash. Last week, we practiced creating our own pictograms. The children had the opportunity to ask their friends different questions to create their own pictogram. Excellent learning finches!
Owl visit (finches class)
The children absolutely loved our Owl visit yesterday after spending a few weeks learning all about them. We had the delight to meet a barn owl, a tourney owl, a little owl, and a Indian eagle owl. The children had the opportunity to hold, stroke and cuddle some of them!
Geography - Maps
In Geography, we have been learning about different types of maps. In pairs, the children created their own aerial view of Key Stage 1.
Owls Visit (Owls Class)
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their owl visit today. They have been learning all about owls and learned even more facts today. The children got the opportunity to pet, cuddle and hold the owls too .
