Poppies

Year 1 have been creating art related to poppies in preparation for Remembrance Day. 

 We used sponges to print the colour onto the poppies

We have thought about how to make it safe and assessable to everybody. The children were investigating ways to join materials together. We used pipe cleaners and straws to make 3D shapes and thought about how this technique could be used when making our final pieces.
