Art: Pointillism

This half term the children have been practising using different materials to sketch castles. So far, we have practised our sketching skills using pencils, we have used watercolours and oil pastels.  

Can you look at these images of castle?  What can you see? What do you like about the picture? What do you dislike about the picture? What do you think the artist has used? 

 

 

Can you create one of these pictures. 

Challenge: You could create a picture in the style of Georges Seuret using pointilism to create your picture of the castle.
