 Year 1 are learning about sculptor artist Andy Goldsworthy who likes to use natural materials for his art work. We collected sticks, different coloured leaves, berries, apples and stones to recreate own class creation.

We have thought about how to make it safe and assessable to everybody. The children were investigating ways to join materials together. We used pipe cleaners and straws to make 3D shapes and thought about how this technique could be used when making our final pieces.
