Science - Everyday Materials

In Science this half term the children have been learning about Everyday Materials.

Today the children had a STEM challenge, which was to build a strong bridge to ensure the bears wouldn't fall through.

The children worked together in pairs and had some brilliant discussions. The children used appropriate vocabulary and tested different materials to see which material would be the strongest.

W.B "The plastic bridges are strong but the paper didn't work. It wasn't as strong."

A.Z "I used lots of paper. It was thicker, so it was stronger."
